Forums - General - Do you play board games? (Monopoly, Risk, Advanced 3rd Reich, you name it)

@naznatips

It is spelled euchre and is more Midwest exclusive, unless there is some game that is pronounced nearly identical and is Indiana exclusive. One of the groups from my high school holds a euchre tournament every year. A person's knowledge of the game seems to depend on whether or not their parents know it.

"FFXIII is ONLY possible on PS3.
it`s not a multiplatform, because the game is NOT possible at THIS quality on any other platform." (Posted on 7/13/08)

"SMG in best case will reach:
1.1. mln. in Japan
2 mln. in Europe
3.9 in Usa
maximaum +200k in every region. =]"

^ if it wasn't for my dad, Monopoly and Risk would probably be the most advanced board games I know.

My advice to fanboys: Brag about stuff that's true, not about stuff that's false. Predict stuff that's likely, not stuff that's unlikely. You will be happier, and we will be happier.

I have the most epic death scene ever in VGChartz Mafia.  Thanks WordsofWisdom!

I love Risk, but I got the PC version (Risk 2) so the old board game dosen't see much action these days.

I love a good board game...

Some of my favorites:

There are also some card games I liked because you only need one set of cards:
Illumanati
Flux

I love some of the cheap-ass games stuff too..
Before I Kill you, Mr. Bond...
Bitin off Hedz
Kill Doctor Lucky
Lord of the Fries
The Great Brain Robbery
Unexploded Cow
and a whole lot more....

And of course the old classics...

Risk
Monpoly
Settlers
Carcassonne
Multi Billionaire (basicly the same as Monpoly just with a Wall Street nd a lot of other cool stuff)

Think twice before helping a friend in need.

I bought Arkham Horror over the weekend based on several very good reviews of the game and my interest in everything Lovecraftian. It has a very interesting 1 to 8 player coop against the game structure. Means I can play it myself if I can't find anyone else. So far it's definitely keeping me enthralled.

Other games I really like are Settlers of Catan, Puerto Rico, Caylus and some of card games such as Munchkin and Loot.

Monopoly
Chess
Axis & Allies...FTW!
Checkers
Scrabble
