Indeed. And i think 60fps should be the basis to start from. Not the one that gets sacrificed first. Because for me, what matters more in a game is smooth gameplay. The choice or AI or objects or whatever should come at the cost of resolution and not FPS. But alas... "everyone" prefers a shiny game over a responsive one. Blame me for defending that a game that plays better is preferable to a game that looks better.

You can defend whatever you like, the right you don't have is to say your taste is the more relevant and should be the rule. There are multiple markets, buy whatever you like and ignore what you don't want, but don't keep preaching to others that your taste is better than others and everyone should like what you like.

Here you go again saying its a matter of taste, or opinion. Its not. Its fact. Higher FPS makes for smoother gameplay. You just opt to not to want it and have a worse off game gameplay wise.

Say what you will, but i'm right. Caring more about graphics is shortsighted. But many people are like that. Its something the rest of us have to put up with, but it does not mean we aren't right.

The Order does many things incredibly right but also stumbles hard on other very important aspects but at its current price ($9-10) I'd still recommend it.

Miss post?

What do you mean by that ? The fact that he included his answer in the quote ?

Yes ok, I'll consider your absolute FACT as the universal truth. We should ban from gaming anyone that buy a game with less than 60fps output.

Visually, I'd say that yes, The Order looks better than Until Dawn.

In no other way, shape or form I think it is a better game, though.

Both heavily rely on cinematography, but whereas it is often obstructive in The Order, which completely break the pace and flow of its third person shooter mechanics, they feel perfect on Until Dawn. Atmosphere is better on Until Dawn, story and plot twists are MILES better in Until Dawn (even if the 80's teen slasher parody effect sometimes made the developers take the lazy route out), replayability is better in Until Dawn (though it plays the illusion of choice more than I would have liked), heck, even something as simple as extra content is better in Until Dawn (unless you really enjoy taking videogame photos, and even then, it was later patched in The Order). Can't really remember any memorable OST from both games.

The Order is indeed a visual masterpiece. I haven't played Until Dawn.

I see you've played Riptide, Would you recommend it? I keep coming across it on PSN but the 12 quid price tage seems a bit much. Is it any good?

As in Dead Island Riptide?.

I'd say it's worth it since the gunplay in that game has improved a lot more than the first game and generally plays better. I still like the first game bit RT plays better imo.

Nah, Riptide GP 2, A little water Jet racer. I love mobile racers on Adroid but hate touch screen controls and now that they are coming to psn (Playing beach buggy racing atm which is fantastic) its hard to tell if the bumped up price is worth the port.

Ah fair doos.

Been a while since I've played any Racing titles so I can't say lol.

Oh the drama. I'm just saying 60fps should be everyone's preference because its factually better from a gameplay pov. Its also a fact that not everyone cares about having the best gameplay. It's just how life is.

Developers choose to release 30fps games for higher fidelity. I'm not saying to not buy games cause we all enjoy games and the fact of the matter is that we will end up buying regardless because we don't have a choice. We usually don't even have a say on it, but we can certainly leave the feedback so we can have better gameplay experiences in the future, or at least a choice, because atm we are force fed the 30fps, and that just isn't right.

The market gets what it wants... it's no drama, is you trying to force your preference on others.
