If you want you can buy any of those games on a PC without owning an XB1. The cross buy is great, but not strictly relevant. You can buy any of the PS4 console exclusives without owning a PS4. In this old fashioned console showdown, so same thing. Also this is PS4 vs XB1 not Sony vs Microsoft etc etc. So in short, no, please don't try to spin things here. Either to convince yourself or others.

 


I'm stating it and yes it is now fact. Sony doesn't own window 10 nor any windows. The rules have changed, if you can't accept that, than don't make these threads to split peas.

 

Sony has never owned those platforms. The rules haven't changed they have always been the same. And those aren't the rules we are playing by anyway.

PS4 by far. Xbox sounds like they're migrating over to Windows 10 more and more so I wouldn't be missing much if I passed on Xbox One now. Except for Gears 4, that's just one game though.

These are the games that intrest me (from your list OP):


Horizon: Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4, The Last Guardian, Gran Turismo Sport, Gravity Rush 2, Ratchet and Clank, Ni-Oh, Persona 5, Street Fighter 5, Firewatch, Nier Automata, Tales of Berseria, Star ocean 5.


vs

Quantum Break, cuphead, Sea of Thieves.



Imo its not even a close call.... PS4 wins by a landslide.
Would suck to have a XB1 and not a PS4 in 2016.

 

SF5 and Persona5... those two games alone beat anything Xbox One has in 2016 for me.

I gotta say, Wii U is a darkhorse for 2016. Still lacks good third party retail support, but strong digital/eShop support, and a decent slate of Nintendo published games.

TPHD, Star Fox Zero, Pokken Tournament, SMT x FE, Pikmin 4 (?), Zelda U, and for all we know 1 or 2 surprise games....I think the system might just got out with a bang. And I'm fine with that.
