Let's face facts: elder people tend to have issues using modern devices, often ending up in situations that are either funny or hard to believe for people that have minimal knowledge of what technology is capable of doing nowdays.
It's almost impossible that you were never asked by anyone to help them out solving their problems with said devices so why don't we gather some of them to make a few laughs ?
So here's my personal favourite:
When I showed for the first time a smartphone to my grandpa he couldn't figure out how to use it, at that time he had already seen many mobile phones and didn't have problems with them since he could use the buttons to digit a phone number, but the total absence of buttons from the front side of the device had him getting in crisis. So after turning on the device he looked at it carefully for a couple minutes and ended up with a solution: he started clicking compulsively the volume button and started telling me how bad of a choice was to use the morse code to digit the phone numbers XD
