Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft reaffirms ReCore for 2016*, confirms Windows 10 release as well

Only one game on that list that's both on Steam and supports 3 OS's, well I guess I'm not going to be getting any of those late ports then =P.

I guess I should just drop any hope that MS wants to support PC gaming in a more open approach and instead wants to create and control their own Apple garden, I'll just end up supporting someone else instead I guess since I;m not really interested in being given directions on how to game.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Only 2 exclusives in 2016? RIP Xbox, lol

I expect this to be the trend from here on out. MS seems to be focused on just getting sales now and increasing the money they make overall not just on the X1 winning against Sony. I think they've given up on that which is the smart thing IMO.

Xbox One will probably have 4 AAA exclusives in 2016, including:

- Quantum Break

- Crackdown 3

- Gears of War 4

- Forza Horizon 3 (not officially announced, but I see it happening)

It could happen according to the tendencies.

Forza Motorsport (2005) - 1.05

Forza Motorsport 2 (2007) - 4.05

Forza Motorsport 3 (2009) - 5.48

Forza Motorsport 4 (2011) - 4.55

Forza Horizon (2012) - 1.95

Forza Motorsport 5 (2013) - 2.07

Forza Horizon 2 (2014) - 1.14

Forza Motorsport 6 (2015) - 0.89

But, also according to the tendencies, the sales have been going down with each iteration of both franchises, maybe Microsoft might take a break from the series for at least a year to refresh them a little bit.

Personally, i dont think we will see a Forza game this year.

It's strange since we haven't even seen it in action. I'm curious, very curious. Hopefully it's what I imagine.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

I think we will se a new Forza Horizon game this year AND I think it's a mistake. Forza needs time to receive significant new features. I'd launch Forza Horizon 3 in early 2017.

it seems it will be released later in the year, it was said to be a spring 2016 game, now its just a 2016 game. thats pretty much indicating a delay. honestly it was expected.

Stoked about ReCore on PC.

Same here!

yeah the game seemed really interesting. but i still dont know if i will get it on PC or not. gotta actually see the game first lol. hopefully we wont have to wait until E3. but knowing MS, we probably will.

Still waiting for more ReCore information any day now.

So, I know it doesn't matter to MS bottom line where they sell there games, but it's got to be a pain for the people working to try and sell Xbox Ones for them to keep bringing games to PC. I mean...the more Xbox games I can buy on PC, the less reason I have to buy an Xbox One.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
