Doesn't Sony own the rights from the 007 movies ? Are we looking at KojimaxGoldenEye ?

hmm, I don't see that happening.

Well, Kojima is well known for his love for western movies (just look at his twitter and you'll be blasted by thousands of Star Wars pictures and comments), so it isn't far fetched to think that having the possibility to work on a game based on a movie series he likes and that is well known worldwide would be a great opportunity to start his own company... I agree that it's unlikely, but it's definitely possible..

Is this the part where we look at what she's wearing, assume it's going to be a JB type game but then do the Illuminati and look "deeper" into her hair style or something for clues like most Kojima fans do lol.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

The James Bond distribution deal with Sony is done after Spectre bows in the U.S. on November 6. It could stay at Sony or it could head to Warner Bros., or Fox (which handles MGM’s home video), or Universal, and Paramount. Or even Disney, where Bob Iger has shown the wisdom of making big bets can work out in buying out whole companies like Marvel and Lucasfilm for cash and stock.

If we look at the history of Bond in games you can see that they release on different platforms, not Sony consoles alone:

Seems like Sony had the rights for films and they end with Spectre and they never had the rights for all things Bond, including videogames.

I agree with you in how Kojima could make an "elegant" espionage game. :)

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

Judging from it, maybe the villain of his new IP, she gives off that vibe, and the image as a whole gives a spy/James Bond-like vibe overall, the artwork seems to be made to portray that, a villain of a spy movie or something similar.

I dont get bad guy when I look at the picture though. However this picture has me thinking spy's and it also has a 70-80's feel to it.

Maybe the new game isnt set in the future with scifi type tech around, but in our time or a few years back.

Maybe they are in a 70's room simulator for a special training.

Nope, Sony does not own the right to Bond movies. That's MGM. The reason Sony has the right to co-distribute and co-producing it, is becuz they partly own MGM along with Warner Bros as the majority share holders.

However, Sony does own and produced a very big series tho.

It's Breaking Bad :3. And they're probably making a video game for it right now.

I never read anything about that. I love Breaking Bad. I don't know how adaptable to videogames that story and characters are though.
