Forums - Gaming - My top 3 games of the year 2015 (Best Year in Gaming?)

Most dissapointing game in 2015

Rocket League

- the game was supposed to change my life but it didnt

- no seriously i think this game is heavily overrated. People made it out to be like its the next pong or tertris, not for me.

Runner Up for third place

Deception IV the Nightmare Princess

+ amazing underrated title its a very tactical game. You set traps to kill the enemies in a kinda turn based/chess way mixed with real time.

+ the game has so many content, basicley its a vannilla game from last year + new and bigger expansion (Blood Ties + Nightmare Princess)

+ i love the style of this game, it has a lot of sexy undertones and fetishes. If Dead or Alive would be porn this would be BDSM porn. The game is gruessome yet in a kinda funny way, it doesnt take itself too seriously.

- i feel that the game is a bit too grindy sometimes at least the expansion. I have beaten the original game and also got one of the endings in the expansion and there are still tons of other quests to do. And its not easy figuring out what to do in these quests. The problem is that there isnt any guide out there, no platinum road map i had to figure everything out by self to even get one single ending. The game is simple too nieche right now.

Game of the Year Number 3

Fatal Frame / Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water

+ this game is awesome. Its an old school type Survival horror game which could have been done in the PS2 era and this is not a bad thing.

+ I loved the story and how it was told. Its more of the japanese way where you have to dig deaper to find documents, videos, looking at ingame cutscenes until everything is puzzled together.

+ the graphics look fine to me and i think the team knew what they were aiming for, water is an imported part of this game.

+ i had some very creepy moments at the earlier stages. Later you get more used to thisd game and have to repeat a lot of levels but least you dont have  to beat the game over again just to see different endings to understand the story. Its a good trade off, so i completed all the missions, watched every ending and even collected all spirit videos.

- censorship stinks

- the motion controlls cant be turned off

Game of the Year Number 2

Metal Gear Solid V the Phantom Pain

+This game is awesome and the ratings are all justified this game got. Its a massive game with so many content. You get your main open world storyline, the motherbase aspect of building and invading as well as the MGO Multiplayer. The game has so many weapons, vehicles its the perfect military sandbox game.

+ The game still has its Metal Gear Charme, like with some of the kinky weapons like the rocket arm or the robots etc. And the story is also well crafted imo, its just a bit complicated but if you listen to all audio tapes its understanbale.

+ I love the mother base aspect of this game, building your army and base. I finished this game and yet i am still loggin in every day to get my free microtranactions (motehrbasecoins) and managing my income and economy who run online without even playing the game, i have 3 bases in total right now. And its just awesome to invade other motherbases, stealing someones nuke was one of the most funny feel i had in gaming for a while. This is the exactley my type of Online gaming i would like to see in more games.

+ it has one of the most unique gameplay i have ever seen you have to play it for yourself to see how everything is mixed together.

- the game is obviously unfished, only like 35 of the total 50 missions are real new content. The rest are repeating missions. Now a lot of people complain about the effect it had on the story but my main complain is that Afghanistan is 75% of the games content, look at a map its 3 times bigger than Congo. Thats a bit sad the game could have had more diverse battlefields. There is Ground Zeroes as extra tough. MGS 5 is actually a game that should have been episodic imo. But yet in comparison to other games it clearly has more than enough content.

+ the game runs well on every platform and still looks amazing. This probably the best engine ever made when comes to multiplatform games. It feel like its an exclsuive on every platform from PS3 to PS4 all gamers will be satisfied with the results. In comparison to a game like Fallout 4 which runs at 20-30fps this game looks better and it runs at a smooth 60fps on PS4 or Xbox One.

Game of the Year Number 1 /Best Game Ever Made

Bloodborne

+ pictures cant discribe how awesome this game is for me so i show you videoclips. This games amazing and its my all time favorite now.

+ Bloodborne is a game you all always wished for as kid when you played your castlevania on your NES. Its exactley how you would have imagned all these oldschool hard castlevania games but with awesome real looking graphics if you understand what i mean. The game is very inspired by castlevania in fact, instead playing in a middle age fantasy universe (like 1000s of other RPGs) its playing in a Renessaince/new age type of fantasy world. And the entire game is about consuming blood like a vampire lol.

+ story is awesome, you have to figure it out yourself but why shouldnt you? More youtube videos and fans speculating = more fun.

+ Gameplay its old school hard like i said, yet its still open world. Tons of back tracking, classes, weapons etc.

+ the Combat is the perfect mix of a Souls game and a Hack & Slash game. Its very tactical yet you are able to be more agressive doing combos or getting your health backif youre hitting back. The guns are very important in this game, you can stun enemies, shoot and finishing them off from a distance (very usefull at the end of a boss fight) or you can still use them after your stamina runs out unlike with melee weapons.

+ graphics are the best i have ever seen. I know games like Driveclub or the Order 1886 look better in aestatics but Bloodbornes engine has the more impressive stuff in it. More physics effects , giant hairy bosses, more open world and yet the graphics still looks very good overall. The game definiatley had the more WoW moments, like when i first saw the rats they looked just disgusting.

+ and if that wasnt enough the game gives you a free Diablo Souls edition called the Challice Dungeons. So if we look at it this game, its 2 games in one for the Price.

:this was the best year in gaming i had for a while

For me this year was pretty meh, not one outstanding game. Thankfully the next year looks like it will be the best one in years.

Why not trying the games above ;)

Bloodborne wins it for me, but give a nod to Witcher III as strong runner-up.

I don't like western looking games, the only ones that interest me from your list are Deception IV which I'm planing to buy someday and Fatal Frame but sadly I don't own Wii U.
