Forums - Gaming - What other Square game you'd like to have the Final Fantasy 7 Remake treatment?

Final fantasy 13

In all seriousness though... I am on the fence about 7 becoming as epic as 7 was.

Xenogears, Vagrant Story and Parasite Eve would peak my interest though.

FF6, Chrono Trigger... nothing else. They'd ruined them.... they'd ruin these 2 as well. :P

Hmm, pie.

Chrono Trigger and or Secret of Mana

Chrono Trigger... Though not the same style as FFVII. I think going with a art style like Ni No Kuni would be pretty amazing.

One upside is, a project like that wouldn't cost anywhere near as much as FFVII. Chrono Trigger isn't exactly that big of a game when compared to FFVII.

Legend of Dragoon. Hands down

According to vgchartz it sold 2 and 1/2 million more than FFIX. I am actually surprised so many think FFIX is more popular. :p

You could solve this making a poll, though.

Regarding the "bleeding abilities".. I mean the Draw command. I replayed it a bit lately and I overdid it (again), wasting a lot of time and then finding myself throwing abilities away to make space for the new ones. The positive thing is that the stats jump sky high. And no, i didn't think about developing the synthetize command first.

Well, sales not necessarily mean it is their favorite FF. :P

Do you mean "magic" when you refer to "abilities"?

Indeed I talked about popularity. Not that FF IX is better than FFVIII anyway. :D

Then yeah,  I meant magic. I have mixed it up with LR:FFXIII where the mobs drop abilities generally speaking. Apart that what is a spell in a FF game can be an ability or a technique in another (like Quake/Scan or Libra).

Oh, now I got it. :D

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

I mean, Chrono Trigger is the most obvious answer. It's the LttP to FF7's OoT for Square.

Chrono Cross :p, I haven't played Chrono Trigger yet.
