honestly id rather have one big update every 3-4 months rather than a lot of small updates. the current update system is just fine IMO, they are lacking some features that should be in there though.

Probably you're just not used to it. Hung been going back and forth between it and my ps3, any time I had lost searching was more then made up for with how fast I could do anything, and now that I rarely search for anything it's even better. The only thing I really miss from the ps3 is folders. Though I'd rather they let me put multiple tags on games so I could sort them in several ways, like by genre, or multiplayer, or if I've finished the trophies or not

This. I really dont feel like opening up my PS4 once I get it back from my cousin. I can easily do this on my Xbox One.

I won't call it "opening up" though. You literally just slide a cover open and take out a screw. Its kinda annoying having to redownload everything tho, but even that can be easily circumvented with a backup.

This might sound weird, but I want that search they have on the Xbox One that lets you search across all of the services on the console. It's awesome and nobody talks about it

You're just not used to it. Because everything is quite clear. Never had problems looking for what I wanted.

It would help if you logged in to your PS4 more than once per month. =P

 

@OP: Definitely the option to let us use an external HDD for games.
