Well, that's something I wasn't expecting!

By the way, I didn't know that Rayman liked to do some climbing between games.

 Yeah, apparently its an immersion breaker if the arm movement does not match up with the way your arms really move. So they just leave that part out until they can accurately track and model it.

I imagine that not having arms is a bigger immersion breaker than that. But hey, maybe I'm wrong.

Thought the same however apparently having inacurate behaving arms takes you out more. As people tend to focus on stuff like that.
