Maximum 6 to 10 years? LOL especially for a company that has been releasing their console games on PC at the most a year after they were released if not day 1.

These responses are hilarious especially after seeing Final Fantasy XIII LR being released a year after the console versions AND seeing Final Fantasy Type-0 HD being released 5 months after it came out on the PS4/XBO.

Also HollyGamer - you obviously dont know SE's history or habit  of releasing games on PC otherwise you would have taken in consideration that the latest Final Fantasy game to be released on consoles was ported to the PC within 5 months.

yeah, for that broken piece of junk nobody cares, i mean their main series, and also FF13 is the most lowest FF series people want to be an exclusive, unlike FF15 or FF7 Remake LOL

"Broken piece of junk"  - how is it broken? You'll be surprised how many people actually care about that game....just because you dont like it doesnt mean everyone thinks the same.

Most lowest FF series? As in sales? Cause if thats a fact for you then you havent seen the sales data lol

FF15 and FF7 remake havent even come out yet - if anything it could be as "bad" as Final Fantasy XIII (according to people - not me though ;o).

ofcourse you cannot see popularity on sales if we talking Japanese games, FF 13 become mainstream and gain sell alot thank to it's multyplatform factor, and also thanks to their predecesor effort, but among the FF series, that junk is the most linear game that doesn't include world map, and decent story.

It's a Call of Dutty of FF series, and i mean it's not just blind opinion. It's back up by many critism. Just wait for FF XV sales in 2016 (they will release on 2016), if it can pass theFF13 sales. Then it just prove  FF13 popularity was back by SE worldwide marketing (like Activision with their Callof Dutty ).

Unless we're talking 2015 only, this is actually not true. I created plenty of pro PC threads in the past, never to have it derailed/destroyed by "grumpy" console fans. Heck, Zarx has a wonderful, pro PC thread that's still circulating.

Bottom line, the victim playing is silly. For every PC-negative comment/thread you'll find, I can find one for all of the console manufacturers, in addition to, plenty of pro topics about all of them, as well.

Your PC threads, unlike Zero's, were always classy and devoid of jabs.

Have you even played it? Or its sequels?

Also the bolded/italic/underlined - are you talking about FFXIII or FFType-0 HD?


Edit: I'm sure FFXV will sell greatly especially with all the hype and all - the waiting for the game for so long and the demo/feed back stuff.

I've played 13, but stop in the middle of the game (i get  bored )  but haven't got my chance to play the other 2 (13-2 and Lightning return ), i know both has improve in terms of gameplay especially Lighting Return, and   have watched my friend play in his house, but it still doesn't make me interest to finish 13 main story. So maybe it's better but still they could have just put the non linear map from their side stories to their main stories.

That's why i am really happy with  FFXV  is returning  to it's root with world map and  with even better implementation (open world).

If you dont mind could you please point out all them threads that "I" made??. Also how is this a thread to put console and PC fans against each other? its console gamers that seem to be doing that.

i wonder why you always discussing console games. why dont you discusing on how to tweek a PC or other PC related games, like Moba or startegy games. Or everything that related to PC. If you are trully PC MASTER RACE you will not feel ofended with console phesant. or maybe you develop some feeling with console

obviously he is a self conciously declare a PC Master race, if he trully a PC Master Race why bother multypalt games, that comes to Consoles because most multyplate on PC is better.  And it's already cover with other thread,  he can just discusing more PC related without provoking Console gamers.

Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Returns is not a remaster. It is also actually part of the mainline series regardless how you spin it just like X-2 is part of the X sub series no matter how much people hate it (like me  D:).

Also saying it was released on PC because its a remaster is not really a good reason to defend your "6-10 year" delay argument. The fact that Final Fantasy Type-0 HD was released 5 months after the console versions defeats your argument. Saying that its a remaster is the reason why it didnt take long to port it over is hogwash - same with the "Its not part of the mainline FF series" - who the hell even uses that weak argument anymore?

FFX/X-2 HD Remaster is already rumored since it showed up in the Steam data base.

As for Final Fantasy XIII - people are already running it at a better frame rate and way better resolutions than the PS3 or XBox360 could even handle and when it was first ported over. SE's port job at first with XIII was piss poor mainly cause it was their fault for porting over the Xbox360 version without making any changes.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 heavily improved with its port.

Fast forward to now with Final Fantasy XIII Lightning's Return - and that port which came out about 2-3 days ago is considered to be the best port job from SE in regards to the FF series - with people saying they are able to run the game at a solid 60 FPS specifically in parts where the Xbox360 version had slowdowns and FPS drops.

If anything I think whoever is porting SE's FF titles are doing a much better job than they were 1-2 years ago.

Eh ? What are you talking about ? I never said anything about it'll be delayed to 5-6 years :(. I only said "not in the near future". Lighting return released on begining 2014 and now just released on PC around 4 days ago, that's 2 years or around 700 days. That's almost 1/3 of a generation of gaming right there, for me that's not near in the future at all ... T_T
