Yeah I hope they nerf superpowers (that can be done easily as continuity is thrown out the door with SR). And make driving feel more rightful. I want the same type of style they've provided though. And surely with this current gen they can churn out something that looks pretty good. It obviously wouldn't have the Rockstar budget, but it doesn't need warrant, or need it.

Well, if they follow the story, Saints Row V would have to take place on another planet, after what Zinyak and the Zin did to Earth.

And given how over the top is this series, it wouldn't be too surprising, although I prefer if they go back to "reality" and set it up on Earth and without superpowers (althought they could be still implemented in special missions in virtua reality worlds).

But yeah, I'm also anxious to see what Volition can do next. The Saints Row games aren't great in the tech aspects, but they are a lot of fun.

Some spoilers for Gat out of Hell. At the end there were 5 endings, two were interesting for sequel potential. One of them was the Saints go to find another planet and the other the Earth is not destroyed, but Gat is a cop.

Edit: here is a video.

Gat a cop?! What kind of weird reality is that?

Ok, now I have to get Gat out of Hell this next Steam sales.

Please excuse my bad English.

Loved it, minus the co-op bugs they never wanted to fix. The game sold fairly well. And since Deep Silver doesn't have a lot of major properties. I'm gonna say a SR 5 will be made. I'd love it to be combination of both the slapstick/VR world and the real world again. So that car travel isn't wasted. Playing as a toilet was really funny.

This is more or less what I want from V, maybe even one where they go back in time or set in the 60's/70's just to spice things up a bit.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

My favorite was Saints Row II but the following two were decent, even if they declined in quality. They almost seemed rushed and had a lot of repetition. I'm hoping for a return to form if they announce SRV.

The only GTA games I ever bothered to finish were the PS2 ones. IV, V, and the add ons didn't do it ( though GTAV is flipping amazing and I do plan to finish it one day). At least the Saints Row series consistently keeps me playing until the end credits.
