The first one was a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to this. I only hope they fix the "more of the same" feeling it eventually settled into. I'd like some fancier base building, too, but I'm alright if they don't include that.

From what I've read, they've addressed some of the game-play issues, like the slow crawl forward until the enemy teleports out of nowhere and begins battle.

I can just imagine someone making a mod where they rush up to you with the screen blacking out and the old R/B/Y battle theme playing:

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

My only gripe with this is that they didnt go the Terror from the Deep route.

Other than that, huzzah.

I'm actually surprised they didn't go that route, at first I was stumped when they went with "you lost, they won" and rolled with that, though we do get a new sweet air carrier type base out of it.

Looks great!

I still need to play the first one XD

Do it! It's a great game.

My only complain with the first game is the random accuracy of the shots. I hope they fix that in this game.

Terror from the Deep is soooooo good! I spent most of my childhood playing that game.

Being able to customize your character so much is great... but I don't think I'll do it many times.

The pain from losing them in the battlefield will be a lot more!
