Forums - PC - You can now permanently delete Steam games from your account!

is it really that helpful? I mean unless you have like 500 games in your library I don't see it being a problem to scroll and click on the title you want to play. and the reality is you might not want to play something now but a few years from now willl...... might have to rebuy the game then

I only have like 100 titles on steam so maybe that's why I don't see it as a big deal, I guess it could be helpful for people who have like a million micro titles added

I'd rather just have the option to remove from library, but still have the option to redownload it later. Maybe that is a feature already though? I dunno, I've never really felt a need to do so, but I guess it could be useful at times.

Actually its not a permanent deletion at least from what I read earlier.

Cant find the exact article or post but I'm pretty sure you can restore the game.

Anyways, not sure why anyone would want to "delete" it when you can just "Hide" the game.

oh you can hide games?

then, yeah, I don't see why anyone would bother. if you can truly already make the title not pop up then that solves the problem and keeps the game there in case you do magically change your mind and want to go back to it at some point
