I dunno what people expect from award shows. It's basically just a bunch of awards being read out with some entertainment interludes. The one thing they do need is a decent host. Having a bunch of game announcements shouldn't be a key feature of the show, it's about celebrating what has been released over the last year, not about announcing a bunch of stuff that is yet to come. There are a ton of events already in the year for that. Put fewer announcements in the show had show more awards being given out. And damn, people constantly being interviewed about how awesome they think SWBF is got really tired really fast.
