Hey guys so I want to get a PS4 right now. My cousin got a PS4 and I still have my account with all my games that I've been letting him use since he just got a PS4 last weekend and wanted to try some games. My question is since the PS4 is going to drop to 299 for the nathan drake bundle (never played these games) I want to know if I can get the bundle today after work and then get a refund for the price difference on the 6th? I don't want to wait until the 6th because then the weekend is over pretty much.

Not likely. Most companies will not price match holiday promotional pricing.

that all depends on the store. i think target, at least, will price match promotions within 30 days of the purchase date. i'd ask the store you buy it from before you purchase to be sure since it will be the story (not sony) that provides the refund.

hell, if you ask nicely and show the store manager the promotion they just might give you that price now.

Ask customer service. Phrase it as you just got one recently, and heard about the price drop coming up, and if there's any chance they could hook you up if you brought your reciept back at that point.
I'd just wait for the price drop, though.

Good idea. I might do it that way and avoid the headache. Might do it at Walmart though because they seem to take anything back so even if I can't get the deal worst case scenario i'll just return the system and buy it again. Best buy let me return my X1 without any issues so I'm sure Walmart is the same.

So what you're saying is that you have to have a PS4 no later than tonight, right?

I mean if I have to wait then I have to wait there is nothing I can do. I'd rather get it this weekend though as my GF works most of it and my cousin just got his so it would be nice to be able to play together this weekend.

Understandable.  But just imaging having to go to the store twice, unpacking and setting up your console twice, and having to pack up and spend time returning the other console on top of all that.  You know your schedule and the availability of your friends more than I do.  But is it really worth the trouble right now while eventually forcing someone to buy a slightly used console?  Just saying.

If you buy at big stores like Bestbuy, and the same product goes on sale within 2weeks regardless of promotions, just bring in your receipt and they'll give you back the difference.  Also works the same way f the same product you buy comes with a better promotion (ie. more free games with it).  

They'll honor it because it's less of a hassle for both parties rather than you returning it, then they'll have to put it back on shelf as open box etc etc. At least that's how it was when I worked at Bestbuy.

Ok sounds good looks I'll just do best buy then. I've returned an X1 there with no issues so I know they do take returns like that. So your right it would be way less of a hassel for them to just give me the difference then refunding the whole system and me just buying it again.
