It would be smart for them not to do so but... the xbox one price has been tumbling since launch so its hard to say if they'll just sit back and get there asses whooped in their "playoff season"

Edit: Looking it up for you. But, either way, if that cut was coming, I doubt they would wait till the last minute to announce it. I do, however, expect another temp $299 cut just prior to Christmas.

Edit: This is the article I read. He talks about marketshare being important, but making money on Xbox being equally as important (going as far to say that if it isn't making money, he can't promise that it will even be there). Sure, something could change, in the face of the PS4's continued momentum, but based on that interview, it seems that they are headed in a different direction.
