The remaster basically cost some million dollars and the boxart is gorgeous as fuck thanks to Nate's sexy back. How can anyone not see the appeal? For most people outside of the PS nation like Xbox and PC or casual crowd, they see 3 AAA games with critical acclaim and a month long gameplay(depending on your playtime habits ofcourse), not remasters of some mediocre series. And people from the PS family who hasn't or (has even) yet completed the series will be able to play or replay it. Honestly the doubt when it was unveiled gives me the feeling some of the people in here or even in gaf are insensitive to the current gaming trends.

I also think people underestimated the draw of having access the the Uncharted 4 online beta.

I picked up the collectors edition, which came with heavy card bookcase and a metalcase inside, on launch. I played all of them on PS3 and I will replay them all before UC4 launches but the multi-player for the beta looks like so much fun. Can't wait to try it out....
I had forgotten about it actually till yesterday, when I saw a list of weekly releases.

I bought it yesterday.
By the way, the NDC has sold more than ROTR, so I think that no one has underestimated this collection
