Is this thread a joke? The US economy is in recession.. and singlehandedly? Bush singlehandedly rebuilt this country after 9/11?

I agree. If we're not going to vote for Obama, it should be because he's black.

In all seriousness, I have serious problems with Obama's politics but as a person, he seems like a pretty decent guy.

but I have a different theory to run by you. Islam demands that the people are moral and good, right? If then Islam demands that of its followers, could it be that they hate the corrupting influence of Western Culture as a whole? I mean all they see coming from America is what Hollywood puts out: violence, free sex, homosexuality, more sex, more violence, girls looking like hookers, etc. If this is all they see it would not be hard to see why they do what they do.

Do I agree with how they are going about trying to change the situation? NO! But they are doing what they think they must to keep their children out of the clutches of the the filth spewing forth from the Hollywood.

Obama does seem like a nice guy,

But my issue is that since he has ties to that nutzo Hamas-supporting pastor of Trinity United Church in Christ, he might wind up being soft when he should be hard, and vice versa.

umm yeah. The best economic and overall situation our country has been in is when a Democrat, Clinton, was in office. Massive surplus, balanced books, lowest unemployment, good international standing...

Muslims attack us because they hate our freedoms whether there are Dems or Reps in office. How many times were we attacked with Clinton in office? What you think is just rooted in fantasy. Just look at Spain when they nominated that liberal over the conservative candidate to appease the terrorists and then they still got bombed. Terrorists hate us for our freedom and power.
