Forums - General - Vote John McCain for President 2008.

Sansui, perhaps I am a bit quick to judgment. So if you can provide the context for Mr. Wright's racist statements I could understand them better. I am asking you since you seem to know the context and are willing to bet money on it. I however am not so quick to bet anything.

I would be delighted to, if you're willing to take the time to watch some videos and read some links.  I would like to give you some additional links as well.  I will have time to gather those resources for your viewing pleasure tomorrow, but if you'd like to get started you should be able to find the full 9/11 sermon on youtube (this is not the one where he says "Goddamn America", it's the one where he's quoting a us ambassador "the chickens have come home to roost")

One thing to keep in mind - 1.) Regardless of context, some of Wright's remarks are not excusable, they are at best "understandable", when you put yourself in someone else's shoes.  Simply rejecting something is not the road to understanding, so it does take an open mind to try and accept cultural, social, and political values that are not necessarily your own.

I'll throw in some links on policy and overall comparison on candidates too when I get the other stuff together for you.

im too young =P but bacon isnt (in november)

lol dont be stupid Bush was enough we get the joke

it not who i am but what i do that defines me. you'll never walk alone you'll never walk alone walk on walk on.

John McCain will be a better leader than Obama. Obama has no idea about economics and running an economy.
BTW: Democrats ruin US's economy remember the Clinton years? Clinton was a weak President.

The Republican candidate John Mccain has a lot more experience than the two Democrat candidates in Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton. The Republican party has a history of making the USA a properous country and improving living conditions for all. Whereas the socialist Democrat party have ruined America's economy and inreasing unemployment. Remember Clinton, yeah Bill well he was a terrible weak President who stuffed up America's economy with increased unemployment and declining share market. But introduce in 2000 a saviour, President George W. Bush the greatest leader of our country and he has brought lots of economic prosperity to our country: increased employment, improved living conditions and he has rebuilt the USA singlehandedly after the September 9/11 terrorist attacks.

John Mccain has good policies and he will continue the strong economy within the USA. Mccain will also continue the fight against terrorism and the war on terror will be won. Vote Mccain for President in 2008.

Come on. Everyone all over the world hates Bush.

You have a completely twisted view of him.

Work in progress for now...

Please quit giving Republicans and McCain a bad name with your ignorance.

No one knows how well Obama will do in regards to economics. And Clinton, while not responsible for the great economy during his presidency, still is credited for it. So they did not ruin the economy, but it flourished, once again wasnt their doing but still. Also Clinton was a very strong President, especially for a Democrat.
