Forums - Gaming - Who wants Starcraft 2 on console?

Sorry Starcraft 2 on console would be lame, (see Starcraft 64)
The N64 did not support a mouse and keyboard, I wouldn't have any problem with playing Starcraft on my PS3 with a mouse and keyboard, it wouldn't be any different from PC.

You can substitute the mouse for a wiimote and you'll still suck. Its all about the hot keys. Also, if you think pc games don't make as much money I suggest you look at Blizzards financials. Starcraft 2 will be huge, Its South Korean sales alone will probably single handedly make it a massive success.

I'd buy it if it was properly ported to the PS3 and kb/m was supported.

Ive heard rumours that it's going to come to 360.

Damn Koreans are always playing on U.S. servers!

Well supposing you just substitute a mouse for a wiimote and ignore the keyboard I suppose you would be right. However, anyone who knows what they are talking about are suggesting a wiimote and keyboard combo.

Starcraft 2 ID: Gnizmo 229

RTS games are one of the few strongholds of the PC and I believe Blizzard is in the PC Gaming Alliance so I don't see it coming to consoles (Activision is and they just merged with Blizzard).

Not me. Even the vastly improved C&C3 layout is no where near as enjoyable as a simple mouse.

Add kb&m and we are set.
Otherwise.. no.
I'd get the game on a newly built PC regardless.

Halo Wars will be an RTS game released on the XBox 360. So if that game sells well. Star Craft 2 might not be out of the question.
