Forums - Gaming - Were those actual graphics in the StarFox trailer?

The trailer where they introduced the Starfox team in the Nintendo Direct I have been arguing and am unsure about if those are actual graphics or not. It says not actual game play but I guess that doesnt  mean they are not actual game engine graphics... Anyway I am confused and would like to know if anyone knows for sure. I assumed they were not actual graphics because they look really good.

Its the same graphics engine, as in-game. Just here it was different movements and such.

Some are, like the textures and ships and backgrounds. Effects are not the same as in the game though. Such as the smoke and embers when i-direct blows up the enemies in the tunnel, or the sparks flying off the ships and enemies when Fox shoots them at the end.

Same assets, same textures on ship, characters etc.
They jut put more anti-aliasing, some more effects in it obviously.

You can have a real view of the graphics here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xOeg589SJM

Alright cool. I guess I am satisfied with the graphics in the game now.

Keep in mind the game was set to release next month, and they pushed it back for what seemed like the sole purpose of fine tuning things. What we will get in April will be better than the gameplay you see here.

Yes, good to see them polishing up the graphics and lighting with the extra time due to the delay
