Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Wii

Leave it to Nintendo EAD Tokyo to take a game universally acclaimed as one of the best ever made and manage to improve on it! That's the monumental achievement they pulled off with Super Mario Galaxy 2. New worlds to discover, new power ups (Cloud Mario being my favorite) and Yoshi joining the fun made this game a 3D platforming dream. They even managed to make the second half of the game much more interesting than in Super Mario Galaxy, having you explore the levels in depths to find the green stars.

A reboot of a rarely old series and the latest game in said series. This game also has some of the funniest dialogue ever though the controls aren't the best.
