the game "overwatch" is coming only for PS4 in Japan. That say Square Enix. No XboxOne Version in Japan. What do you think about that ? Destiny, Batman, Assassins Creed Unity, Naruto UNS4 and now "overwatch" in japan. In my opinion: The XboxOne is dead in japan, the sales figures are a disaster. the first xbox sales = better than the xboxone in this country. i think: That is the reason, because star ocean 5, world of final fantasy and Nier 2 are coming only for PS4 too (but worldwide)

Why would they port Overwatch to Japan? SE knows where the japanese market is, and it's not on the XBone. If anyone wants the game on the XBone, is Microsoft, and they aren't putting the efford, so why would SE.

Can't really blame them.

It would be a financial loss for Blizzard to port the localization from the JP PS4 copy over to the XB1, while simultaneously creating and maintaining a separate XBL JP server for overwatch

While the translation is probably easily copied over as they are only strings, its paying for the server (cause god forbid microsoft allowed xplay) that is the killer.
