I think Trackmania is the best racing game because it have (way) more tracks and less cars. ^^
Definitely tracks. Both progression and sandbox mode.
GT6 still has 86 track layouts, not bad at all, but it's still missing some from previous versions. It actually has more unique locations than Project cars (41 vs 35) Driveclub has 36 unique tracks with 78 variations. The DLC tracks are all free btw, the paid DLC is for extra tours and cars. Project cars has the most variations, not the most number of tracks.
Project cars sandbox mode is a mixed bag. Yes you can do everything from the start but I miss a balanced difficulty curve. The tour mode isn't very good in project cars, difficulty is all over the place and career is very repetitive, not making good use of the available tracks at all.
Anyway I hope GT Sport has a big selection of tracks. Launching with 20 locations is not acceptable.
