Well, technically, the generation started at 2011 with the release of the 3DS. Since then we had many amazing third party games from Dragon Age: Inquisition to Rayman Legends.

Third Parties this gen seem to be more important than never, with companies fighting for even simple marketing deals and with more and more people buying their games since as of now we're lacking a big quantity of exclusive first party titles.

With that in mind, what's your favorite third party so far? If you can, post the reasons as well. Feel free to talk about surprises and disappointments as well!

Square Enix ...

I'm really loving Atlus. Such a great company always pumping out quality software. Others worth mentioning include Koei Tecmo and Platinum Games.

Def Bandai Namco for me. They produce a lot of underrated exclusives for PlayStation systems tbh.

If you were talking about released games I wouldn't know but games in the Pipeline, definitely SE, so many PS4 games.

In fact I think SE IS the BEST 3rd party publisher. These are guys straight up reading our wish list!
