I think, and it's purely an uneducated hunch, this will be a little more common with their bigger smaller games, and it's part of a deal with valve so that valve will develop whatever software they're eventually gonna make for HTC VR/Steam available on PS VR, or something along those lines.

If valve were waiting for VR for Half Life 3, or maybe they're making their next portal game, sony would want their version to support VR too. Sony and valve dont really compete over VR because their headsets sell to two completely different audiences. PSVR doesnt work on PC & HTCVR doesnt work on PS4.

What ya think? I think it can be bigger than it seems.

I think its just an indie game with multiplayer going to Steam,which has users who are interested in these type of games.Nothing more.
