I never had a PSP (owned a DSi), but I play PSP games on Vita from time to time. There are some incredible games on it and it made me regret never owning one, but my friends with PSPs made a very, very poor job when they gave me their consoles to try out. I'd wish we got the whole PSP library on Vita, can't understand why some companies are alergic to money.

Anyway, i was on tactics ogre not long ago, and i will soon replay corpse party 1/2 before trying the 3th one.

I was just using mine to play Toby Hawk's Pro Skater 2 yesterday . I mainly use it as a PS1 emulator nowadays though .

I use it mostly for emulation for older handhelds nowadays but every now and then i'll replay a PSP game like earlier this year I replayed LOH: Trails in the Sky FC to get ready for SC which released earlier last week. I'm using my Vita to play SC though. It had such a great library especially for jrpg fans!

I'd argue that the ability to play homebrew contributed largely to its overall sales, and that if the Vita had been cracked in a similar manner, it would have sold much better too.

I love my PSP to this day and play it every so often when the mood strikes me. Honestly Dissidia (and Deodecium) basically made the system for me back in the day and continue to be some of my most played games period. I also had a ton of fun with P3P, Kingdom Hearts BBS and Crisis Core.

Agreed. I kinda think Sony should "break" it on their own. Just not the part of the system responsible for playing Vita games (nobody would be developing them anymore), but allowing for homebrew and emulation of older platforms would be sweet. I think allowing people develop PS2/GCN/Dreamcast/Xbox/Wii emulators for Vita would become a massive selling point and while Sony wouldn't earn money off of these games, they'd earn their share from consoles and memory cards sold. 64 GB would become pretty much mandatory, they could even start thinking about making a 128 GB one, cause it would sell.

And even not counting emulation, I think Sony would earn decent cash if they ported the PS2 emulator from PS3 to Vita. That alone would add another dimenshion to the console and a new revenue stream. The PS2 library on the go would be something! Pity they don't seem to be working on it

i have 2 psp's a 3000 and a 1004 model, but haven't playied on them for a while...last game i plyed eas God of War Chains of Olympus...what a great game :)

Nope, sold mine years ago. Then had a PSP G0, sold it. Then a VITA, which i just sold about 2 months ago, and got a 3DS.
