Forums - Gaming Discussion - Amazon US November monthly bestsellers and general Amazon-based discussion.

Monthly updated. Both SW bundles are now the top selling consoles, surpassed COD and NDC. That was quick.

1-25: 3 PS4 Bundles/2 X1 Bundles

26-50: 1 PS4 Bundle

51-75: 2 X1 Bundles

76-100: 0 Bundles

I know you've been trying to push this but do we need it?

I'm just updating periodically, so the clustering is more apparent.

In line with your question, I know VGC has been pushing a games sales site, but do we need it?

All four PS4 SKUs are currently ahead of every XBO SKU at BestBuy.com. GameStop has three of the PS4 SKUs ahead of every XBO SKU, with the standard edition Star Wars bundle being the fifth best-selling console SKU behind the Gears bundle.

Do u Think PS4 is really that far of XBO tho? Xbox one is at number 20, 25, and 30. Then also at 42, 49, 50, and 69. XBO has 7 bundles in the top 120 vs ps4 having only 4.

Yes, ps4 is ahead of every XBO sku, but this is partially due XBO's sales being fragmented across three times as many sku's. As much as I'm rooting for ps4, I think it may be closer than it looks initially at Best Buy. Amazon and GameStop are definitely ps4 domination.

Walmart, if the link someone posted a few days ago is to be believed (it has shown some pretty nonsensical patterns, such as not a single battlefront game being in the top 10 on its release day yesterday), is actually XBO domination over ps4. If anyone has the definitive link for walmarts bestsellers, feel free to post.

Also, has anyone checked out targets bestseller list? I may get on that.

Your over-reacting based on the hourly chart......Most of this month PS4 has had a huge lead with 4 sku's above the first x1 sku with a large lead. On top of that, ps4 has months of pre-orders going into this month.

Uncharted bundle will be 299 on Amazon starting tomorrow.

This will effect Xbox One as well.

You see, the beautiful thing about language (spoken or typed) is the context within it. When someone asks, "Do we need it?", that person is contextually asking, "Is this really helpful?". VGC pushing a games sales site is pretty helpful in everyones mind here, it's in the name of course. But to make the comparison between your break down system and VGC is kind of a 'red herring', don't you think?

I personally don't think the 1-25, 26-50, etc. chart is helpful but I'm not saying it's a bad idea either. Maybe other people find it useful. I just wanted to voice my concern of people missing the context of what others are saying, whether it be on purpose or accidental. Sorry if I come off rude.

I don't think you come off as rude, but to contextualize something freely given (the proverbial gift horse) as a matter of necessity most certainly comes off as such. I brought in the VGC analogy to highlight the absurdity of the question and its truly unsolicited nature, as everything herein comes down to a matter of choice.

Fair enough. I wasn't stating necessity so much as pointing out the difference between our assumed interpretation of Swordfishes contextual foreground. It would seem as though Swordfish used the term 'need' in place of 'usefulness', but I can see how the question doesn't need asking.

Are u speaking about Best Buy? Cause that's what I was referencing, along with Walmart, which has shown XBO domination for the past week (if the link is to be believed).

And yes, preorders will be huge. But I was talking about the recent, and monthly average, sales.

All's well that ends well.
