It looks like we're headed to new record BF.

I'd say so, yes. We've had four people on Gaf talking about retailers. Two of them are reporting the PS4 selling more, 1 of them is reporting the PS4 maybe selling a little more and one is saying they're more or less the same. Couple that with the results from Amazon and a couple of other large online retailers and you have to start thinking BIG.

The US is another year removed from our recession, and people have much higher buying confidence than even a year ago. With the price drop, just the same amount of spending would see an appreciable increase. People are, dare I say it, even more interested in consoles this BF in the US. My brother just picked up and X1 to add to his PS4, and I may do the same. Combined with your Amazon reports and GAF intel, this could be a great year for the console gamer.

What did the Wii U do in November NPD last year?

I am glad that sony decided to compete this BF unlike last year.

To be fair Microsoft is also going in a lot less hard. Last year the XB1's lowest entry price was $330, now it's just $30 lower.

yeah, that's true though it could be argued that MS still has the better value, obviously not as good as last year.

People, how about the Wii U?

It is currently at 300$, just like the Ps4 and X1 and stands at #132.

That thing is flopping horribly! Ive seen it in the Top 100 on non-holiday months. They have to drop the price ASAP.

This is because the Wii U's best bundle - the $20 to $50 cheaper one with Splatoon and Smash - isn't on Amazon for some reason.  It's done pretty well at other retailers where the bundle is available.

Argued based on what? Its cheaper, but performance is also less.... so its subjective.

Lego movie videogame bundle is sold out.

Speaking of the Wii U, at Walmart the Smash-Splatoon bundle is the third best selling console and the Mario Maker bundle is the fifth best selling. At Target, the Mario Kart 8 bundle is the best selling console and the Smash-Splatoon bundle is the fourth best selling.  And at GameStop, the Smash-Splatoon bundle is the second best selling console.  According to their site lists, for what they're worth.

Now just imagine, Nintendo, if ALL your bundles were $20 to $50 cheaper like the Smash-Splatoon bundle?

In BF, performance is the least people care.

Wow things changed so fast! Sony has to do respond. They're getting owned right now at GameStop, like 3-4:1.

Top 100 is:
XBO at #'s 7, 15, 16, 18, 61, 94
Ps4 at 13, 44, 82

BWHAHAHAHAHA, they are dominating NOV, even if x1 eeks out a nov win sony's 15 million lead, they dont need to respond to shit, stop over reacting to hourly fluctuations.

It was a full day of that. On Black Friday, which represents typically almost 50% of novembers sales. That's why I said this. This is the first time I've reacted like this to an hourly chart, but it's a BIG day/week, and Sony will let XBO gain some ground back in the US if they lose on BF.

And yes, I'm fully aware of ps4s dominating sales compared to those of XBO, but that domination does not exist in the US; the sales are actually quite close. Since the US is likely the #1 most important market, sales wise, and it's also the market that swings most toward XBO, this is also why I said Sony needs to respond.

Looks like PS4 will win Amazon on BF(based on hourlies).. Only think.. if I am right.. There is only 4 PS4s in the top 100... and there is 5 XBO in the top 80.. so it could be "close" because of that, but we never know how many units separates each place..
