It doesn't matter. Soon the pc version will have no issues, so person a and b will have bought the same game. There's no reason why console players shouldn't get a free game or two too. PC players' purchase aren't being devalued from warner bros giving everyone extra content. But if you give it to one section of your customers, the others lose out on what they could've got. I got a full working game but I paid a price significantly higher than others for what results in less content

No, no it won't be properly fixed like at all, they have spent months working on that port and it's still busted to the core, it's not getting fixed to a point where it's compeltely identicle to PS4. If that was going to happen it would have now but it hasn't and will unlikely ever be fully fixed, ergo your product isn't magically devalued because you say so since someone else got gyped and you didn't.

I don't get where your logic is coming from. Console players were not wronged in any way, they got a perfectly functional game that works on their respective systems whilst PC got a port that is arguebly the worst port in a very long time and it still doesn't work properly for the majority either. I'ts very unlikely that it will ever be fully fixed and like I said once before, the offer is on a 2 week timer so even then at the end PC gamers will be stuck with the worst end of the stick.

if I had some cracked eggs in the store, the business would compensate me for it if I had purchased them or food that had been sold past the exp date, the other person behind me who has nothing wrong with their products does not deserve the same type of compesnation because nothing was wrong with their products.

You aren't magically entitled to free games because you got a working game and another crowd didn't, that is honestly not how this world spins and it never will because it honestly sounds both entitled and insane to expect something from nothing.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

It's devalued because if I knew (when i bought the ps4 version) that the pc version at equal or lesser price would get mor content, I would've gone for that one. I didn't know that, and now because of information I didn't know, I miss out on a free copy of 4 games.

The store would give you new eggs or your money back. They wouldn't say "Here have 100 eggs on us because we cracked 5 of your eggs" so once again that rhetoric doesnt make sense.

I know i'm not entitled, but i'm allowed to air my grievances at rocksteady and tell them how this affects my relationship with them as a consumer, because if I was made aware of this prior to purchasing, I wouldn't have purchased the ps4 version. They essentially misled.

You want examples. When the PSN went down, there was a double xp for whatever cod games was out then. Xbox got 2 days of double xp, sony got none. When psn came back up, the devs gave ps3 players 4 days of double xp as their own make-good to the players who missed out on a months of levelling. But they didn't feel it was fair to the xbox community that we got 2 extra days, so they gave them 2 days as well. So while not on the extreme end, they still made good to all customers.

Either way you're still trying to warp it into a form where you feel you deserve something from nothing, nothing will change the fact that you chose your version, one that actually works.

The port isn't even equal or less in price, I said before that it costs exactly the same and even then the offer lasts 2 weeks, once it's over it's over. Also Steam winter sale?.

It shouldn't affect your relationship as a customer because Rocksteady had nothing to do at all with the PC version and at the end of the day WB are the publishers and DC own Batman in general. There is nothing to grieve about besides one platform getting seriously fucked over and your wanting something from nothing despitre them doing absolutely nothing wrong to you, that is seriously not how compensation works at all and you really ened to get down to earth with that.

PSN is a Sony owned network, not Activision, that's an issue with Sony not doing zip for you guys, in this case Rsteady needs to do nothing because they delivered you a functional game.

You want to know that if they compensated your platform then PC would get double screwed right?, and no I;m definitely not wrong on that notion ebcause yes they would get screwed over twice, once by WB and the other for gamers on other platforms getting compensated for having a working game while PC does not.

Again that is just not how compensation works, you think it does and it can for very specific reasons, somtiems charitable, this is neither of those though since you got a working product and PC gamers still do not and likely never will, that's the end of the line on that one, PC gamers aren't getting a WORKING PRODUCT.

Air all the grievances you want but you still don't have the right to earn compensation from thin air, if you want that then game on PC and buy the games on the platforms that you know are broken or chance it and only then will you actually qualify for it.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Also forgot to point out that the whole point of them giving those games out for the limited time is a marketing stint to get people to go for more of their products, rather than simply slashing the price of the game that's actually the culprit instead. You can tell they definitely intent to make as much money from the garbage port as possible, the old games and limited offer pretty much paint the picture. All we have to do now is wait and see if they will actually continue in fixing their huge mistakes, I doubt they will though since it's WB, they got their 5 mil and will just ride it out.

1.) Devaluing happens to everything.  No idea why you are complaining about it.

Xbox One version of the game right now can be bought for 40$.  The PC version is almost always cheaper.  Most games come out for 50$ on PC, and 60$ on consoles.  The PC version was available for £15, TWO MONTHS BEFORE IT CAME OUT!  So you missed out on a sale, big whoop.

You buy a car, guess what it loses value the second you drive it off the lot.

2.)  It's a little different than the egg.  They had an often not even playable game for a couple months.

It's not 100 eggs for 5 broken eggs.  They paid 50$ or 60$ for a game that doesn't work.  Now they are being given 3 games, that total 20$ for their bad service.  That's not a 20x difference, that's a 1/3x difference.

It's like this, you sign up a maid from this company. You find out the maid peed in the carpet.

So that you keep coming to them, the company says that they will get a different maid, and they'll give you 25% off the next maid.
Would you find it fair, if your neighbor complained why didn't he get that 25% off.

3.)

The PC owners weren't aware of that either.  They weren't aware of the fact that they would have such a crappy port.  Nor where they aware of the fact that they would be spending 2 or 3 months with a 50 or 60$ game that didn't play how they wanted it to.

4.)

Great examples.  A couple days of not being able to play a game is exactly the same as not being able to play a game for a couple months.

What about when Sony gave people a few free games when their network went down for the month.  Did people start complaining that MS didn't give them any games either?

Excuse me for thinking the devalue on games should be equal across SKU's especially when manufacturers set the rrp.

It's dishonesty because if they told me I would get 5 games in total, i wouldve bought it on pc. They didn't, so they got more money out of me for less content. Yes, they're dishonest.

I don't deserve it, or feel i'm entitled to it, but I do feel essentially scammed and I feel Rocksteady/WB should give half a shit about all their customers, not just a segment of the market and reward them for their own failures. They didn't tell me before I bought the game I could get 5 for (less than) the price of 1, so that's dishonestly. It's not a purchase that devalued from time, it's still £40 most places in UK. It devalued from the fact I could have got a better deal if they didn't hide information.
