starship troopers came out under clinton. that's as good/bad as si-fi action gets.

I mean REAL homoerotic commie-stomping action. Starship Troopers was great, but it was in a hypothetical fascist future where you had to be a soldier to vote and whatnot. It was also based on a classic novel by Heinlein. It wasn't in the same vein as Rambo movies are.

I dare you to watch Death Race 2000 and insult Stallone with a straight face ever again.

i actually read the book 'first blood.' so unlike the movie series, haha.

I agree it had almost no story, but their is no denying the action was non stop, and for an action movie it hit the bulls eye.
