I'm 31. Seems that VGC is a real haven for adult gamers :D It definately was easier for me to join when I noticed that many of the active users are over 20 - and most of the youth here act up. Compared to other gaming sites. Of course it was not the definitive reason but still.

As for the games, I enjoy turn based strategy (Supreme Commander is the first RTS I've enjoyed for more than a couple of hours, if you don't count Pixel Junk - Monsters) and still dig out Fantasy General and other memorable SSI classics every now and then. Tekken, Virtua Fighter, Sword of the Samurai, Way of the Samurai, Kengo, Ninja Gaiden. Anything with more-than-casual take on budo, basically. And since I need to convince my wife that gaming is ok, Singstar is also a frequent. Every now and then I will try out some AAA titles from various genres, but I'm really becoming a niche gamer for samurai adventures - one of the main reasons I chose PS3 over Wii. Looking forward to Yakuza 3.
