Well that escalated quickly.

It sort of helps a fire escalate when you attempt to put it out with Oil soaked tissues, cardboard boxes, some pillows, more cardboard boxes, then half a mouthful of water....

That's what you get with all those survival shows on tv. They only teach people how to build fires. He made the perfect tinder bundle, stacked some great kindling on top and expertly fanned it on with the blanket.
What is talking on that video btw? And what kinda shitty fire alarm is that, it's hardly audible and gives up after 30 seconds.

Do we know what happened to him?

He did pretty much everything wrong and that robot voice is creepy as fuck. I've seen a Japanese Splatoon streamer using that, too.

Inestead of smothering the fire with the blanket, he kept lifting it off, effectively using it to fan the flames. He should be nominated for the Darwin award.

nope, he isn't dead and he can reproduce (he even has a wife)

I'm with him, I would also burn that robot voice with fire.

Tagging so I can show my kids why they shouldn't play with matches...

He wasted his time to unplug the mic. That's why you didn't hear it anymore.

You should remove part 2 because there is no part 2. Part 1 happened in Ehime Prefecture while part 2 happened in Shinagawa, Tokyo. Two different fires unrelated to each other happened on the same day.

Here's a translation:

Home blaze spreads to three buildings, one woman dead - Shinagawa, Tokyo
At around 02:15 on the 4th, a fire started in and burned down a wooden 2-storey 240 sq.m. residential building in Ebara, Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo. The blaze spread to three adjoining buildings including apartment buildings, and the body of one woman found in the ruins was identified by the Ebara police as unemployed Kiiko Sumitani (78). Police stated that the inner first [ground] floor burned intensely. Other residents escaped unharmed after evacuating.

also, when people panic, they don't always act rationally or logically, so it makes sense that he does some weird things, but then again, he could have done a lot of smarter choices :/

you could hear the voice coming from computer keep saying "fire extinguisher" over and over again. I'm sure they have one in the building somewhere, i'm pretty sure they are required to.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

Damn what an idiot, probably didn't even own an Xbox One either. Get it together man
