Mort and tripod are both horrible names, but congrats on getting your cat back.

on a side note, I personally dislike cats, give me a dog as a pet anyday.

It's always sad to lose a pet (had one of my cats die in my arms one time ;_;) and it's even worse not knowing what happened to them.

Being a dog fanboy is far worse than being a Sony fanboy, and thats saying something.

It would be HORRIBLE to have a loved pet die in your arms.  I've only ever had one put down. 

 Yeah, it kind of sucked.  I got him when I was still in 3rd grade and he had a heart murmur when I got him so we knew he didn't have long, though I didn't really get that too well I guess.  I knew he was going to die, just not soon.

So shortly after that we moved to Texas and he got really sick.  We moved during the summer after 3rd grade so I hadn't really had a chance to make friends yet so the cat was literally my only friend.  I remember waking up one morning when my parents, brother, and sister were all gone and going to check on my cat.  I looked in her little bed and she was just laying there and not moving at all.  

I called my parents up at where they were but they were outside (we were living at my grandparents because our house hadn't been finished yet and they were out at the house/farm) and leaving a frantic message saying the cat wouldn't move and didn't know what to do.  After that, I picked the cat up, he looked at me for a second, convulsed, and then died and then spent the next three or four hours home alone with my dead cat/only friend. 

It kind of sucked.  ;_;

@ twesterm: That story is worse than the beginning scene from Bambi... when I was about seven or so I had to see a dog kill my guinea pig... it also died in my arms... live is cruel sometimes...expecially if your just a kid...

the reaons I dislike cats is beause their so up them selvs as pets, but I love watching them run as a dog tries to play it's favorite games, chase, or as I call it, run or die. lolz 

Last dog that tried chasing my cats received 3 well placed kicks in his dirty face. Hate dogs, mostly because I have been bitten by these motherf* countless times when i was young, and i didn't even messed with them.

Your system wars posts may annoy me but your cat... your cat is awesome. Great news man.
