That is one expensive game, it'll probably be cheaper in America, but DAMN I wonder how much my local import shop is gonna sell MGS4 for in America... 150? They already sell Wii games that are out here like DQ Swords for 75...

$90 at exchange rates but 880Yen translates to £45 which is what most games cost when you buy then new in the UK. So pretty much about right on the price.

Jeez... that is NOT going to help sales. Normal (next-gen, full priced) titles are 6,800yen. And its not going to be nice for importers, with the yen very high against the dollar.

Well, if WiiFit is close 8800yen and MGS is near the same price then it is a lot. WiiFit in the UK is $140, just for a little perspective (i.e. $100 for MGS4 is not a lot for Europe, just normal)

Exchange rates are not good to go on at the moment. Wii Fit is £70 here, this is the same as what the PSEye first came out as With Eye of Judgement (how much is that in Japan?). This is because of the board. But this is ripoff Britain which explains why we pay more for everything.
It've never good to judge any price based on one countries price. MGS4 will come out at RRP of £49.99 (sme as many), might be reduced online to £40. So normal price probably.

I think this is the most expensive game yet. Normal games now are 6800 yen, while big games that are main series tend to be 7800 yen like Dynasty Warriors or Yakuza. 8800 yen is too expensive.
Comparing prices from country to country isn't good, but comparing prices within the country is fine. Having MGS at the same price as Wii Fit isn't good.
