Forums - Sony - Huge Retro Sale on PSN EU Right Now

Cool and all, but I think Sony needs to add trophies to classic games. Then they'd see the sales skyrocket. Also adding PS2 games to Vita would be mindblowing.

Just think, PSX, PS2 and PSP games with trophies on both PS4 and PSV (and PS TV!). That would be glorious.

What do you think about Grandia and Ark the Lad 1, 2 and 3? I'm thinking about these games.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

What was the psone... 33mhz? :D I'm fairly sure the ps4 cpu could emulate that while it's powered off lol, prolly takes more processing power to run the LED's on the front of the system.

Well, I can tell you that I've been emulating PS1 games on the PC (in higher resolution, no less) for almost 15 years.

The PS4 could piss out a PS1 game with no effort. And I'm guessing a PS2 game would be doable too. Especially if you're going for a pixel perfect copy, and no extra bells and whistles like higher resolution.

My microwave could emulate PSX. Sony has a perfect software PS2 emulator on PS3, all they have to do is port it to PS4 (and PSV... Pweeese!).

Oh yeah, I forgot about the software emulator on the PS3. I had PS3 with hardware BC.  Of course, that fucker no longer works and I had to resort to buying one of the redesigned PS3s.  I can generally get by with emulating PS2 games on my PC, but not all games work 100%.  Would be nice if Sony did us a solid and gave us BC.
