He cant consider MK like Mario spin-off either.

But it is a Mario spin-off. It's called Mario Kart and it's based on the world of Mario, with Mario characters. It is, by definition, a spin-off. Smash Bros. is a crossover. |
Buy definition probably, but its own franchise, it basically kart racing game with Nintendo characters (not only Mario characters).
1. Final Fantasy
2. D* Souls/Bloodborne
3. Kingdom Hearts
4. Legacy of Kain/Soul Reaver
5. Tomb Raider (before the arrival of the whiny flat impostor)
5. Rollercoaster Tycoon
4. SimCity
3. Star Wars
2. Mario
1. The Legend of Zelda
More or less the franchises of my top individual games, as even though some include bad games, those top games, plus the others that would be decent enough, definitely put the entirety of a franchise above the rest. This especially goes for SimCity and Rollercoaster Tycoon, because even those they both have a few ginormous missteps, two games in both did something so unbelievably excellent that they're still top 5. Mario and very Star Wars are close though, Star Wars has the better 'best game', if ever so slightly, yet Mario has a higher average quality putting it ahead. Zelda is uncontested, every 'rule' I have when it comes to gaming goes out the window when Zelda's concerned. I admit major bias.
5. God of war
4. Xenoblade (although there's only 2 games in the series now lol)
3. Shin Megami Tensei
2. Mario
1. The Legend of Zelda
sry for my bad english - it is not my 1st language
