I used the exact same word the developers used when describing the remaster actually. ;)

So yeah...

I'm still curious why PS exclusive counts (PS3, PS Vita, PS4), but Windows exclusive doesn't.

And you can't have a discussion like this without taking quality and size of the games into account. Even Sony themselves admitted their line-up wasn't good for the rest of the year.

I would love a source on that. Likewise what footage you seen that shows minimal graphical update.

Is this really a question? For the exact same reason you bringing quality and game size into a discussion with me makes no sense.

A PS exclusive is a game under the PS hardware brand. Windows is not hardware, its an OS. So the correct comparision would be 'Xbox exclusives' since Xbox is actual hardware.  No one is talking about PC in this thread until you decided to bring it up for no reason. I'm not sure why you can't see how silly this is of you.

You can have a discussion without bringing up quality and game size because I was talking strictly about the amount of games releasing. Maybe if your original reply to me was about quality as a comparison you would have something to bite on. But it wasn't: your original reply to me was only about quantitiy and how many Nintendo only games were releasing.

It's nice I guess that you think Halo 5 is a better game. Maybe it is. But when I replied to the TC it was about how many games PS4 was getting that the X1 was not getting. My reply is still about that. if I wanted a discussion on quality I would have made that apparent up front. Likewise you would have too, but you didn't, so now you are just grasping just so you can make a point. any point.

And yet Tomb Raider and Forza 6 don't count for this year for some reason? ;)

Here the developer mentions they plan to keep the changes subtle.

And no, I thought it was self-evident we were talking about major exclusives and not some small digital only titles.

Are you intentionally trying to be misleading, or did you not read that link you just posted?

"the set of PS4 remasters will also sprinkle some of the gameplay refinements Naughty Dog implemented in later chapters back throughout the trilogy. Developer Bluepoint plans to keep the changes subtle, but as long as Drake's Fortune loses its horrid motion-controlled grenade throwing, the battle's already half won."

He's talking about gameplay changes. Duh...

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

So was I. Read up on the discussion bro.

As for the graphics, go look at comparison videos, it's not hard to do.

You know what, lets get this back on track...

You have this weird habbit of trying to shift the conversation to suit your narrative. His comment was clearly about the PS4 having more exclusive games for 4th quarter. You also have this habit of bringing up quality, and then dismissing any good game that, once again, goes against your chosen narrative.

He said that SONY has more exclusives than NINTENDO and MS combined. Which is false. Even if we're going to ignore handhelds it is a false statement.

And he quite arbitrarily picked a date so he could exclude an xbox one game that releases one week before the Summer ends lol. If we're going to have this discussion than at least include all the yet to be released games.

Upcoming "exclusives" for Nintendo/MS:

Nintendo

Super Mario Maker

Star Fox Zero

Yoshi's Woolly World

Fatal Frame V

Fast Racing Neo

Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash

Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival

Devil's Third

Rodea the Sky Soldier

Xenoblade Chronicles X

MS:

Tomb Raider: Rising

Halo 5

Forza Motorsports 6

Fable Legends

I love how this topic is about Sony and Microsoft and then a Nintendo fan comes in. Says to himself, hmmmm where do I fit in? And then goes totally off topic. rofl.

It was a Sony fan that started this by trying to take a jab against Nintendo and MS. ;)

But hey, don't let facts get in your way.

Yes, its worth it.

Allowing the Xbox One to win in NA this Holiday will also make me a winner. :D

It doesn't matter how you put it. Sony (PS4) has more exclusives the whole year 2015 or Q4 2015 than Nintendo (Wii U) and MS (Xbox One) combined. "Exclusives" that don't appear on any other plattform in any form. Like Fable Legends, Below, TR: Rising and Rodea the Sky Soldier. Or the Uncharted Collection and even Teraway Unfolded.

And why there should be handhelds included although it's clearly about stationary consoles only... well, only satan knows.

Title.

Is it worth Sony taking an obvious loss in the games/exclusive department compared to Microsoft and saving the big guns for 2016?

The Xbone is clearly prepared to gain some marketshare this year with some pretty big games. While Sony has had a decent 2015 and will continue to do so; the "huge blockbuster" games just aren't there this holiday. Bloodborne was in March so you can't use that.

Anyway. I guess we will see.

Personally I think with a intelligently timed price cut, Sony will easily be able to match Microsoft if not outsell them besides not having the games advantage.

Enough at least to tide them over until 2016's huge Ps4 games come out.

Thoughts? Opinions? Favorite food?

Even without big exclusives and price cut, PS4 will selling better than Xbox.
