That isn't saying much seeing as though it was 2014 and I dislike mario games.

"the best game on the system" doesnt mean "a great game", it's still a shit game, just less shit than everything else at the time.

Let's not pretend me saying the game is bad never happened.

And Fatal Frame V is a total shit but is better than games like Donkey kong Tropical freeze, Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta 2, Pikmin 3, 3D World, wonderfull 101, Smash Bros 4, etc etc... EH... right, your criteria sures amazes me.

And your complains about tecnical details doesn´t automatically mean you think is a bad game, you also made a extensive analysis of the tecnical problems of XCX and still you think is the best game of the gen (or maybe is a shit too but less shitty than the rest)

Lol, we went deeper into that discussion and you never once said it was shit.

And the Wii U had Pikmin 3, Super Smash Bros. U, Rayman Legends, Bayonetta 2, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Wind Waker HD, Shovel Knight (console exclusive at the time), Hyrule Warriors, etc.

Besides, isn't such a topic meant to be objective and not subjective? You not liking Mario games doesn't diminish their quality. I hate the hack &  slash genre, but that doesn't make Bayonetta 2 shit to everyone (just me).

I don´t want to sound offensive or something like that but... is not that too narrow minded for a game developer?

And still your favourite game this gen is XCX that is a JRPG...

Hey guys Metroid: Other M is my favorite game on the Wii because that's my favorite franchise/genre!

I love whatever genre Zelda is yet I rank Skyward Sword as the second worst Wii game I own.
