My biggest disappointment is that out of the current big 3, only one started as a game company.

Founding out that Metroid Dread is not in the making after founding out that easter egg in Metroid Prime 3 about it. Also Eternal Sonata's story was dissapointing, but I loved the game and its characters.

You are not alone, Kasz216!!
And yet again, I blame the 3rd dimension!
Depends on what you mean. For this generation, I'd say I haven't had the misfortune of experiencing any great disappointments.
For the previous generation, it was Xenosaga 2, hands down. A game so bad that it pre-emptively ended the series. Even if that's not technically true, it sure feels like it.
For the 32-bit generation, Final Fantasy IX. I do not get why some people like that game, and probably never will. To me, it was a load-time-laden, rumor-mill-loaded, over-hyped game that couldn't ever meet up to the hype.
For the 16-bit generation, it would be that I never got to own any of the 16-bit consoles until well into the 32-bit generation.
For the 8-bit era, that's no challenge: Battletoads. That game pissed me off so much as a kid...
Sky Render - Sanity is for the weak.

Wait... it's actually possible to hate Battletoads? Are you human?
He hates it because it "pissed him off" which translates too: It was just too hard for me.
But Don't worry Sky render. It was too hard for all of us. It was still an awesome game though.
I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.
Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.
Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!
Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.
To be fair, I played the game last when I was all of 8 years old. To say that my reflexes were a shadow of their present state at that age is a gross understatement.
Sky Render - Sanity is for the weak.
