This. You can have a crappy $400+ computer for daily tasks and a $400+ console for games. Instead, you can combine that money for a very nice PC that outperforms both. Since I'm always going to own a PC anyways, I find that I save a good deal of money by gaming on it as well. I also get to benefit from cheaper games and free online. In addition, I get to enjoy a very fast rig for daily tasks.
