I don't take too much notice. I've been really disappointed by some high scoring games, and thoroughly enjoyed lower ones (The Order comes to mind).

If I see a game score highly and I was barely interested, I would check it out a bit more.

For example, the Mad Max game, If it gets 90 meta It will catch my attention.

I think scores are important as reading a review can really spoil a game.
