Didja know you can ride the cloud along the bottom of the screen to skip mostly everything? :L

I still couldn't complete it though as getting on the second cloud and moving out quickly enough proved too annoying with all the random turtles constantly cockblocking me.

EDIT: Also played Skullwalker and Mike's levels, both of which included Lakitu who made things difficult!

Am I reading correctly the more you play the more editor features it unlocks?

You only have a 20% of the content right now, keep playing and it will expand a little more every 15 minutes until you get everything (around 2.5 hours)
