Is anyone getting Gauntlet slayer edition? When comes out next month on ps4, I'm going to want people to play with. I love me some good ol gauntlet.  If anyone's interested, I'd love to play it with you when it comes out.

Fraid not already got the vanilla version on PC. Can say its a great game though!

Perfect mix of classic Gauntlet with a bit of Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance chucked in.

I'll grab it in a few months, when it's on sale. I don't have time to play the few games that i currently have, as it is.

Yeah it's definitely more lie Legends and Dark Legacy. However it's also closer to the 80s original. There aren't as many lairs though, you now have summoning stones to destory that generate various enemies, as opposed to their being lairs for specific creatures.

Online play is seamless though. And there is also quite a lot of stat building you can do with your characters :)

I would've been all over this if my brothers and friends were still willing to play story games.

I loved Gauntlet Legends on my N64. Does this play similarly? I may get it for PC.

Plan on getting it eventually as love some Gauntlet co-op. Be fun to have a friend over...I am assuming this has couch co-op.

I could have sworn that there were always things that summoned stuff.  Like there were little stines or huts in each realm. 

What kind of stat boosting? Hopefully its nothing too much. I don't want too much stat boosting in this game. I think itd take away from the gauntlet feel

There used to be lairs for each particular enemy. Now there are lairs (stones) but they summon various types of monster.

Stat boosting is you earn gold in the game. You can spend this buying extra powerups etc. This just helps with the higher difficulties. It's not increasing stats to boost strength etc.
