Nintendo becoming a 3rd party dev would be great, as long as they don't end up like Sega.

Online MP should be free by default..wow - cant believe people are actually in support of a paywall :(!

 

Soon we'll have a paywall for single player games like they have on iOS/mobile.

"Insert more funds to play for longer" or "Wait X amount of minutes to regain (Stamina)".

I understand why people don't like paying for online but there are some other benefits like free games and better discounts as well as dedicated servers. And I usually only pay $40 a year for Gold so it's not that much to pay.

Nintendo games would feel pretty darn alien on another console... In my ideal world both would be going strong.

I just dug out my old Dreamcast a few days ago while I was down in my childhood home, actually, and as soon as I find a second VMU so that the dang controller will work my buddy and I are seriously looking forward to House of the Dead II lol... I still have three guns and they all work wonderfully.

People who want such benefits could pay, but charging for the basic right of playing online is absurd.
