You only have to put $5 down if you pre-order in store. Play the beta if you don't like it, cancel it.

Hmm, I think I might pre-order to get the code then cancel the preorder later, I don't want to pay what most stores are asking me for this game. Weird that there haven't been any real cheap versions yet.

EDIT: Do you have to register with CoD to get in?
