Hatsune Miku PS4: Special Edition PlayStation 4 Limited To 100 Examples In China
The irresistible Hatsune Miku has garnered adoration worldwide. However, it looks like the blue-haired humanoid idol has a special place in the hearts of China. Cryton Future Media has created a special collaboration with Sony Computer Entertainment and Good Smile Company in order to create a new limited-edition Sony PlayStation 4 with Hatsune Miku designs.
According to AnimeNewsNetwork, only 100 examples of the special edition Hatsune Miku PS4 will be available exclusively in China. What's more, the lucky few that are able to purchase one will also enjoy early access to purchase concert tickets for the upcoming Hatsune Miku 2015, which will be held on June 27 and 28 at Shanghai.
So how much will the new Hatsune Miku PlayStation 4 cost? About 2,899 yuan, or about $467 USD. If the price seems a little steep or if you already have a PS4 console, then a spcial edition white PS Vita bundle featuring a Hatsune Miku T-shirt is also available. The Vita bundle will cost 1,299 yuan, or about $209 USD.
It's one of those special things that will appeal to the most die-hard of Hatsune Miku fans. That said, it's almost certain that all 100 examples would be sold out in a link of an eye.
