30k is still respectable numbers and they arent investing any money into first party games

I'm not convinced. The 3DS is killing it and it is selling at the same level as the Wii U, a console that has little 3rd party support, huge game droughts, and that is so badly marketed that many people don't know that it isn't the same thing as the Wii.

Killing the PSV? Sure. But lets be clear, the 3DS will be _lucky_ to sell half as much as the DS did.  The handheld market shrank significantly.  Sony got their slice of the pie cut worse.

Since when are hanheld games AAA? and nintendos 3DS games are certainly not AAA either. Tough the vita is getting revelations 2 which looks amazing.

"AAA" means high budget. There have certainly been high-budget games on handhelds.

But of course, I was using it a little less formally to mean "real, full games from major publishers that are sold at retail at full price". You know, games like Kingdom Hearts, Luigi's Mansion, or Persona.

That's cute.
