Also, this man is not a minister, at least not of christianity. And yes, his roots with farrakhan are deep

If this wasnt an attempt to slam Obama inadvertantly or tie his name into this idiots comments then why the need to associate Obamas name with it, as Sam, the OP has done....even in his second link when he capitalizes the character as if he were "Pastor of Obama".......one thing i cant stand is playing dumb or ignorant when everyone knows the intent of something......if you wanna try to slam Obama because of this fine, but dont do it then try to play stupid like this has nothing to do with reaching to bring the man down, thats all.

Obama should call a news agency and distance himself from the comments......but wait, Hilary told me he didnt know how to answer a phone, so i guess hes screwed!!!!

Well it is making the news because he is in FACT the PASTOR OF OBAMA. I am not blaming Obama for this guy's remarks but why would he want to be associated with someone like this?? Dont you think its crazy that Obama is associating himself with this person for 20 years and why recently he made him an advisor on his African American relations committee?? Of course you dont and I am sure you probably dont even care about the racist remarks he is making because of your one sided biased support for Obama. Obama needs to be measured with the same standards as McCain or Hillary, but of course Obama supporters dont think so.

@Claude. Great job ignoring the rest of my post! Wonderful!

Ignore the part that said I prefer Obama and then decide that I think he's a robot being controlled by his preacher! Wonderful.

You're still acting like an idiot.

Care to elaborate?

I ignored the rest of your post because it was irrelevant to my original post. So what if he hasn't distanced himself from the man? It's going to happen anyway, it always does. It's the same damn routine that's been happening for weeks, and months. Someone from Hillary's camp says something stupid, people get pissy until she denounces the person and distances herself, then a bit later someone in Barack's camp does the same thing and the process is repeated. The difference is that the person in question isn't even in Barack's camp, that's how desperate people are getting for this kind of drama.

Oh, and I may be "acting like an idiot," but you are an idiot. See, I can insult people too!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

@Claude, no it was entirely relevant. You said that people were being hypocritical for attacking this guy and not attacking the chick from Hillarys camp, I explained why it was the case.

Obama hasn't yet distanced himself from this guy and I don't know if he will. Also this guy is closely linked to Obama, openly endorses him, Obama knows about him and Obama hasn't yet done anything.
Let me put it this way, if you were say, Hillary, and your priest went and joined the KKK and started preaching racial supremacy and how you should win because you were white. Wouldn't you distance yourself from him?

Same situation, I'm losing respect for Obama if he doesn't distance himself from a racist person who is endorsing him and who he is closely linked to.

Oh and I don't really care if you call me an idiot to be honest =\

Yea I'm conservative-leaning and I still think Obama is a less-bad choice than all of the idiots in the Republican party that tried to run, rather disappointing selection overall.

 Ron Paul was no idiot

No, he was a good honest man who would have made a terrible president.

I didn't say anything about hypocrisy, I said the people were trying to deflect Ferraro's comments by pointing at Obama's preacher instead. In other words it's damage control by shifting attention to something else. And like I said, Obama is obviously going to denounce the man, it's just ridiculous that people's 'respect' revovle around whether hedid it at 1:00 or 1:15.

All I can say is thank God people aren't trying to hold me accountable for the actions of everybody I associate with. I'm not sure I could accomplish anything if I had to worry about all of the decisions somebody I've met has made or might make in the future.
